Due to the increasing need for petroleum professionals and the industry's commitment to education, the OERB has established the Petroleum Scholar Program. At least $400,000 is awarded each year to students majoring in petroleum-related fields at the University of Oklahoma, the University of Tulsa and Oklahoma State University.
