Safety Contest
Well site safety is important. That's why
OERB makes it a mission to educate Oklahoma students about the dangers
of playing around abandoned oilfield equipment. One of the ways we do
that is through our annual Well Site Safety Contest.
The OERB holds the contest each year to
inform students about well site safety. Participating students are asked
to either fill out a coloring sheet, draw a poster or create an
advertisement telling others about the dangers of playing around well
site equipment. The best part is, the messages are created by students,
for students. The OERB will recognize the winners at the official Well
Site Safety Day at the State Capitol where students will also get a
chance to meet with their local legislators before visiting one of
Oklahoma's exciting museums!
The deadline has passed for entries in the 2013 well site safety day poster & coloring contests. please stay tuned for information on this year's winners!
